bericht voor ouders

This afternoon we will publish a special bulletin for the parents. Some of the notes we will give you now because of the importance of the last alinea.

Kosten programma: bijdrage bowlen (?) (wij betalen voor Portugese leerlingen), 3 euro buskosten op vrijdag + 17 euro entre Park, zaterdag diner restaurant ongeveer 15,00 zelf + 15,00 partner.

Drankgebruik:

wednesday 12 january

Wednesday 12 of January,
Mathijs van Tienen for the European Times
(not revised version)
Today we went to a few musea. They all were about something totally different. The first we visited was an old church. It was build in the 15 century and named afther Gironimo. And is was in a old style build en it was very nice to look at. They re-build the church and made a museum in it. One part of the church is still a church. In this museum they showed old stone and I think they were from old building and in the stone there were some texts. It was sad that we couldn´t see the hole collection because in a other area there was a class. Straight after we visit it, we went to a other museum. From the outside this was a beautiful building to see with great architure. (Centro Cultural de Belem) There were much square and straight lines in it so it looked very modern. Inside the building there was the museum it was about modern arts. There were some really nice pieces of art but of some of them I couldn´t see the art in it because it were just pictures of a house. After that we did eat something first we sit in the park and after that we went to the Mac Donalds witch was really nice. Than we had a moment for ourselves and we had some fun. But we had to wait a very long and much of the guys get bored and that wasn´t nice and I think they could had that organized a some better and with this we lost a lot of shopping time wath was sad. In the city the streets were a made of little stones and the building were high and have still a old look. They do here much with the bus of subway in opposite in Dutch we do everything with a bike so that is kind of relax.

Wednesday 12 January

Today we stood all together waiting at 9 o´clock for the boat, which was going to bring us to the other side; Lisbon. I think we´re a very nice group and I like each of everyone. Everyone was in the morning very tired because we go out a lot. We were really quiet. Finally at the boat, everyone was alive again. The water with the sun and the view was beautiful. And when we arrived with both feet on land, we had to wait for the tram that took us to the first museum. The people of the group don´t like the museums, we already discovered that. So we walked through really fast. Afterwards we walked through a church and everyone took really great pictures. Then we went to the other side where a large museum was. We made really quick friends with the staff… Not. They were complaining about screaming and running children and boys who slipped on the stairs railing. It did not pressure us so we had the most fun. So Evi went sitting on a museum piece and the guard went really angry. We were embarrassing as hell. Then we were allowed to have dinner at Mac Donalds. The whole group was sitting on the same table, we have talked a lot together and we had really fun. Then we had to wait for the metro. After an hour waiting we heard that the metro had an accident. So we took the bus. Finally arrived we had an hour to shop and we all went together. After that we went to another museum. We all were like: ´oooh no, not again! ´ But then they told us that it was a fashion museum, so all the girls were like oh my god that’s so cool. I must now admit that it was the best museum ever. I thought it was a really nice day but exhaustive.

Sintra

Lieve Hommeles is reporting on the subject Inside the group (this is the first version).
I`m going to describe the group spirit and how the groups reacting when we do something.
10 jan.
When we arrived at the school. Everybody meets eachother and ask if the flight were good and wants to now more. Then we eat something and the portuguese group are going to arrange what we do that evening. Everybody excited. Then the dutch people goes with his exchange partner to there home and meet the family. Later, in the evening, come we together and go to a bar on the beach. Many people come, not al off us. In the evening it was great to see each other drink with different people and that we have so much fun. ~
11 jan.
Everybody was tired off the evening. But in the bus talked each one off the night we had together and what was happend that night. Later in the Palace we went in 2 groups. The group where i was, had fun in the beginning because they laugh much. The guide doesn`t like that. But a few minutes later it was better. When we were finished we went to a street and walked together. Later we had to wait for the bus and everybody talked with each other. When the bus arrived was everybody calm and the ride was everybody talking and laughing with each other. The bus get lost a cople of times but finally we arrived. By the donkey riding was everybody happy and laughing because we had so much fun. It is not what you normally do. Later when we were in the bus to get home, was everybody arrange what we do tonight.
It were nice days and hope we have a lot of fun!
